Trust and safety

Trust is built into the booking record, not left to assumption

Caretio combines helper approval workflows, private identity information, explicit service scope, booking-linked communication, payment records, alerts, and support tools. These controls reduce ambiguity, but customers and helpers must still use judgment, follow local law, and keep requests within the stated service boundaries.

What to expect

Paid helper actions are gated by the required approval workflow.

Legal identity information is kept separate from the preferred name shown to other users.

Service boundaries distinguish household help from licensed clinical or trade work.

Messages, alerts, status changes, and support actions remain connected to platform records.

Detailed guidance

Helper approval

The helper workflow supports identity and profile information, document submission, declarations, consent, and administrative review before paid helper access is approved. Caretio should describe only checks that are actually active in the relevant market.

Privacy with accountability

Users can present a preferred public name while legal identity details remain available for legitimate verification, payment, safety, or support needs. Sensitive data should not be placed in public profile text or ordinary chat.

Clear service boundaries

Cleaning, medical escort, and home support each have different limits. Medical escort and Home Support are non-clinical. Licensed medical treatment, emergency response, and regulated professional work require appropriate providers.

Records and support

Keeping scope, messages, status, payment activity, completion, cancellation, and support actions connected to the booking makes it easier to understand what happened and respond when something changes.

Important boundaries

  • No platform can remove every risk; users should review booking details and report concerns promptly.
  • Verification or approval does not guarantee a particular outcome or replace personal judgment.
  • Emergency, clinical, illegal, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited requests do not belong on Caretio.

Frequently asked questions

Are all Caretio helpers approved for paid work?

Paid helper access is gated by Caretio’s required approval workflow. A person may preview parts of the helper experience before approval, but preview access is not the same as approval to perform paid work.

Does approval guarantee that nothing will go wrong?

No. Approval and platform records can reduce uncertainty, but they cannot eliminate every risk or guarantee conduct, quality, availability, or outcome.

How should I report a safety concern?

Use Caretio’s in-product reporting or support workflow and preserve relevant booking details and messages. Contact local emergency services immediately when there is an urgent threat to safety.
